There are two ways to make this Deconstructed Sushi Salad, a vegan version with edamame or a version
using black sesame crusted salmon (in which you still can add edamame if desired), as well as many topping options!
I used black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds and caraway, yum.

The only alteration I've made to your awesome recipe is I've
used black sesame instead of brown, it's indescribably awesome.
You can
use black sesame seeds in various dishes such as adding them to your salad or eating black sesame cake.
I use black sesame seeds over mine, but if you don't have them you can use regular sesame seeds.

I like to
use a combination of white and
black sesame seeds because it looks nice, but feel free to
use one or the other if that's what you have on hand.
As for the
black sesame paste, I
used this paste.

For my cookies, I decided to
use both white and
black sesame seeds.

used a mix of white and
black sesame seeds; this would look perfect on a Thanksgiving Day table!

According to traditional Chinese medicine,
black sesame is good for your liver and eye health, while in Ayurveda
black sesame oil is
used for oral health.
Obviously very flexible, we
used Lyle's Golden Syrup instead of honey, mixed fruit once and
black currants the second time, flax instead of
sesame seeds etc..
These were beautiful when baked — I
used a mixture of
black and white
sesame seeds, but I thought mine were a little blah tasting.

You may want to reduce the amount of agave for the
black sesame ice - cream or
use 1/2 cup of coconut sugar instead.
Sprouted Sunflower Seed Cocoa Bars Note: Sometimes make these bars
using sunflower seeds only (no buckwheat), or
use a mixture of different seeds — sunflower, pumpkin,
black and tan
sesame, chia, flax and poppy seeds.
I've

You can
use just white
sesame seeds or mix white with
black.
Take equal parts raw
black sesame (don't
use the toasted ones, these will bake in the oven on the outside), flax and fennel, and mix together in a bowl.
I've been thinking about your question and the reason I
use black bean sauce is because I was trying to avoid the
sesame in hoisin sauce.
I
used regular
sesame seeds because I didn't have
black sesame.
In a smaller bowl, or food processor, combine tahini, dill, juice and zest of lemon, sprinkle of sea salt,
black pepper to taste, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and if you are
using sesame oil add it here.
For the mix - ins I chose a variety of things in my cupboard that needed
using:
