Are
you using choc chips?
Last year about this time, I made a banana - zucchini bread with a browned butter glaze (in lieu of chocolate — you're smart to
use choc chips!)
I used grated chocolate and some stewed strawberries in the ice cream, but you could
use choc chips, nuts, dried fruit, crushed honey comb, crushed meringue, or whatever you like.

added organic marshmallows and extra large
choc chips used only 1/3 the oil, and made up the rest with organic butter substitute, melted
The
choc chips were stevia sweetened and i also
used hazelnuts.
I've
used unsweetened cereal and with the PB cups /
choc chips, you won't even notice the difference.
Used 4 bananas, 3/4 light brown sugar and added toasted walnuts and 60 %
choc chips.
My only modification was to
use mini
choc chips instead of regular ones.
Used this as an egg replacer in a vegan
choc chip cookie recipe and it worked brilliantly!!!
I especially like
using the vanilla - rum extract for things with chocolate — like
choc chip cookies or brownies, and the vanilla - vodka extract for foods with more delicate flavors.
I
used blueberries instead of strawberries, for the nut butter I
used cashew butter &
used cacao nibs in place of
choc chips (it's just what I had at home).
Have you
used anything other than the
choc chips mixed with the coconut cream?
I have those exact same M & Ms I
used in a deep dish
choc chip cookie and I loooooove oatmeal cookies.
Ran out of cocoa powder so I
used the Enjoy Life
choc chips instead.
I've
used a chia «egg» to moderate success, but I've found it's best in biscuits (cookies) and cakes that have nuts / fruit /
choc chips or similar folded into the batter as they can add a slight crunch.

used raw honey in place of agave as I believe its a more natural, unrefined sweetner (agave isnt as innocent as you might think — read up about it) As for those of you who wanted to know about the white
choc chips, well I avoid all dairy and refined sugars so I simply made my own, its dead easy — simply combine pure raw cacao butter (gently melted) with a pinch of celtic salt, a little extract of vanilla and some raw cashew butter, then freeze in a suitable container before breaking into chunks!!!!! yummy You can make dark chocolate
chips even easier by melting pure coconut oil and stirring in a little vanilla, honey and raw cacao powder before freezing!!!
I
used soy milk instead of almond,
used double the amount of baking powder because I did not have any baking soda,
used 1 egg as I found the mixture to be extremely crumbly, and
used dark
choc chips which sadly did contain dairy (it's all I had in my pantry, a day before pay day) BUT these were still some kick ass cookies.
I see you suggest melting
choc chips, but do you think you could
use any chocolate?
I
used Wild Friends Vanilla Espresso Almond Butter, and improvised the
choc chips missing from my pantry by chopping up 3 Guittard Semi-Sweet baking bars and topped off the 1 cup needed with Cacao Nibs.
I
use cacao nibs in my
Choc Chip Peanut Butter Bliss Balls.

used dark
choc chips with hardly any sweeter.

Dates can reduce sugar without altering the taste in Reduced Sugar
Choc Chip Cookies
using Date Paste and Date Syrup.
i swapped the honey for maple syrup in both the icing and the mix and worked fine and also
used cacao powder instead of cocoa and also added a few
choc chips.
I didn't have
choc chips last time, so I substituted white
choc and I picked up some Andes Mint pieces on sale so I
used a partial bag of those.
This recipe
uses 1 lb regular salted butter, 2 c. sugar, 2 c. chopped almonds and about 1/2 c. chopped almonds and roughly 2 c.
choc chips for the topping.
Calculated them to have approx 142 cals or 149 if you
use 1/4 cup of semisweet
choc chips in place of walnuts.
I make my daughter a MIM and a
choc chip mug cookie
using sunflower flour, but it has a distinct «peanut butter» taste.

using your almond flour book and a recipe off the internet that was way too long and way too complicated, and I ended up making bars because it's easier... and I threw the
choc chips on top (after several attempts of crumbly messes, I was OVER melting the chocolate).

Just a thought, I dislike how you state about this muffin (and all your healthy recipes) as the «best thing about them is the calories», isn't the nutrition more important you're
using wholesome ingredients (minus the
choc chips)-- your body doesn't recognise numbers!
I
used sunspire grain - sweetened
choc chips, too, which are slightly less than reg
choc chips.
I
use 90 % chocolate chopped up to make
choc chips which really makes the extra sugar minimal.
