If you don't recommend
using date sugar for tea and coffee, what should people use?
Just wondering if there really are added benefits to using honey with cinnamon or if I should be
using date sugar instead.
A recipe that calls for a liquid sweetener could use date syrup and one that requires a dry sweetener might be able to get away with date sugar (though since I don't think date sugar is as sweet as regular sugar, there may be problems
using date sugar in some recipes.).

A drawback of
using date sugar is it doesn't dissolve in liquids.

using date sugar and coconut crystals for the honey and that worked fine.
I used date sugar instead of the cane sugar, and they turned out just fine.

You can
use date sugar just like you use brown sugar or regular sugar.

I am definitely starting to
use date sugar a lot since it is 100 % dates, however it has a strong flavor which doesn't pair well in certain applications and adds a dark brown sugar color.

used date sugar — but I often use Medjool Dates to sweeten smoothies and other snacks.
As an aside: I am breaking my rule right now and having cookies with brown sugar, but I thought it might be helpful to send note to food companies recommending them to
use date sugar if they must sweeten their products given its nutritional value.

using meridian
date syrup, and more or less the same for other brands!
I never
use any refined
sugar and know that there are a lot of nutrients in things like bananas and
dates.
BUT, I really am confused about this no -

sugar alternatives.
I upped the maple syrup a bit more for the crumble and it tasted great, but I don't want to
use too much syrup or
dates as watching
sugar intake.

dates, as whilst yummy are high in natural

used honey instead of agave, and coconut palm
sugar for half of the
dates (I only had about 7
dates on hand) and sweetened a bit more with 8 stevia drops.

If you make sure to
use organic / healthy dark chocolate chips with minimal added
sugar, and substitute
dates for the honey (adding the

date purée Instead of
sugar and added raisins instead of chocolate chips.
You won't need to add
sugar, or maple syrup, or whatever sweetener you usually
use, unless you like super sweet bars, then feel free to add more
dates.
I don't
use salt and

And we have made it without adding
sugar or gluten, instead we
use almonds, cashew nuts and
dates.
We ditched the
sugar in the apple sauce (because it's really not needed if you
use sweet apples), replaced cookie crumble with a simple nut and
date crumble and
used whipped coconut cream on top to make it vegan.
