I've read that it doesn't have a long shelf life once it has been ground up into flour from the nut., Next I will try and grind my own flour
using fresh nuts and see if it turns out better.

There were some minor changes in the recipe, mostly due to limitations of my pantry: we do not have frozen apple juice concentrate here so I just finely grated some apples and added a pinch of sugar, let it sit for a few minutes to give the juice time to come out; o) I also

fresh the longest anyway!
