used the main components from Joe Stout's recipe + my holistic nutritionist self wanted to include Great Lakes
gelatin powder for digestion and gut building (I take this every day myself), nutritional yeast for B12 and folic acid and the choice of either Vit.

use it as a hair mask, I found this tip on Pinterest: «To make, stir one tablespoon of
gelatin powder in to 1/2 cup of cool water until mixed.
A good starting ratio for adding
gelatin powder to your recipes is 1/2 tablespoon of
gelatin per 1 cup of liquid — however, the ratio of
gelatin to liquid you
use will depend on how «thickened» or «gelled» you want your recipe to be.
To replace 1 egg,
use a ratio of 1 tablespoon of
gelatin powder and 1/4 cup of water.

The only «protein
powder» I actually
use currently is Great Lakes grass - fed
gelatin, there are so many other nutritional benefits like
gelatin and collagen for joints, hair, skin, nails and I love the amino acid profile.
I like that it is a restored pioneer recipe
using powdered gelatin, a very nourishing food (think joint repair and health as well as gut repair).

I like marshmallows and would like to make them, however, I eat kosher and can not and will not
use powdered gelatin since it is made from the skin and bones of a variety of animals, including pigs.
I

gelatin powder for weight loss and maintenance, as they claim that it can boost Human Growth Hormone (HGH) production and boost metabolism.
I also add
gelatin powder to soups and stews for an extra
gelatin boost, but if you don't want to attempt all the other
uses, at least consider incorporating homemade bone broth into your daily diet.
