I personally didn't have any reactions, but it seems that some people do experience sensitivity for the first couple of weeks of
using homemade toothpaste, especially if they've been using commercial products for a long time or have had recent fluoride treatments as the clay can bind and pull out toxins.

In the past, I've
used baking soda, oil pulling and a
homemade toothpaste with coconut oil, baking soda, stevia leaf and essential oils.
If you really want to take it to the next level, you can make your own
homemade toothpaste using coconut oil, baking soda and peppermint essential oil.
I
use it in baking, my
homemade toothpaste, as an exfoliater / face scrub and for cleaning.
If someone has high cholesterol, is it OK for them to
use it for cooking and making

I'm super interested in trying the thieves as well, and I
used the little peppermint sample in my

For those of you who don't like the

toothpaste either, I recommend Ratanhia
toothpaste by Weleda as it is free of potentially harmful sodium fluorides, tastes delicious, and comes in recyclable packaging.
I wouldn't
use these daily, since they are abrasive, but adding a little charcoal to a
homemade toothpaste or DIY tooth powder a couple times a week can whiten and freshen the teeth.
Try
using some
