They barely put out any heat and waste 50 % of the energy they
use, the wires are not safe with glass or porcelain and they work best from the bottom, a big no - no with Kombucha,
JUN or Kefir.
We
use these heaters not just for Kombucha but for our
JUN, water kefir and milk kefir grains as well, depending on how cold it is.
