Hi Ella, I was running low on ingredients so instead of
using almonds I
used activated pumpkin seeds, I replaced cacao with natural
peanut butter and I
added some cinnamon and vanilla and I didn't
add maple syrup.
It just amazes me how you can turn just about any type of frozen fruit into a yummy summer treat without any
added sugar — even chocolate
peanut butter «ice cream»
using frozen bananas!
I had quinoa on hand so
used that, only had 2 bananas, so
added a couple spoonfuls of
peanut butter and did half maple syrup and half honey.

Add the
peanut butter, coconut milk, fish sauce (if
using), tomatoes and coconut water or broth and stir to mix.
However, I would like to make a couple of suggestions: first, based on some of the earlier comments, I
used 1 Tbsp of natural
peanut butter in place of the tahini and that was plenty; I also
added an extra clove of garlic and a couple of Tbsps of olive oil (because hey!
I
added a bit of
peanut butter, to make it thicker,
used plain diced tomatoes and was liberal with the spices, and it tasted amazing.
If you don't have salted
peanut butter, you can
use smooth natural
peanut butter and
add a pinch of salt to the pudding.
I only
used 3 cups of oats and
added lots extra
peanut butter and honey in hopes that it would do the trick.

added two more tablespoons of sugar figuring that's about how much sugar would have been in the Skippy and they turned out AWESOME!!!
I might
add some
peanut butter chips: I have never seen them in supermarkets in Europe but I bought some when I was in the US this year because I thought I was constantly seeing recipes
using them.

used natural

I would suggest
adding a little more powdered sugar if you are
using natural
peanut butter and reduce the salt in the recipe.
If
using a natural

add a pinch of salt in Step 1 of making the filling.
I didn't see the note about not
using quick oats and all I had was natural

add extra brown sugar.
