I didn't manage to snap a picture of the inside of the cake due to all the birthday fun but
I used the pitaya powder to create an ombre effect throughout the layers.
Not exact matches
The buttercream was coloured
using a combination Raw Nice's Blue Spirulina and
Pitaya Powder.
Lastly, add the pink
pitaya or beetroot
powder (if
using), until you reach your desired colour.
For decoration you can great creative and
use a dusting of superfood
powder such a pink
pitaya, rose, blue pea or matcha.
If you have access to fresh magenta - fleshed
pitaya you could
use that instead of the freeze - dried
powdered stuff.
2 packages frozen
pitaya puree (buy here or here) 1 - 2 bananas 1/2 cup frozen berries 1/2 cup almond milk, preferably homemade 2 tablespoons vegetable protein
powder, such as hemp, pea or your favorite nut butter (I
use this one)
To make whipped coconut cream place very cold coconut cream and pink
pitaya powder in a small bowl and
use a hand held mixer to whip up.
This time I
used pink
pitaya powder and thought I would add it to pancakes.
If you don't have any pink
pitaya powder, you can
use pomegranate juice, or the juice from thawing a bowl of frozen raspberries.
