I have a special technique that I like to use when I make healthy milkshakes, ice cream, and smoothies at home to ensure they're especially creamy and sweet without
using real cream or sugar.
Because this recipe
uses real cream, it allows for a wonderfully smooth texture you would find with normal ice cream, but not necessarily with other non-dairy ice creams.
It's much better, in my opinion, to
use real cream and no flour, as I noted in a REM column years ago.

cream... to to turn it into yogurt / if you can't buy
real Kefir Bacteria (Lactobacilli bacteria)- Its not dairy but is
used to make milk into Kefir and after its
used to turn milks into yogurt, you can strain out the original chunks of bacteria (which is what we do here in Greece and then put the Kefir in the freezer so you can perpetually re-
use it — while waiting for yogurt to become cheese.

uses the finest ingredients;
real eggs, butter and

I am not a huge fan of
using ready made whipped
cream, but it doesn't break down as easily in this recipe as the
real stuff does so here, it is warranted.

cream in a can though on the occasion that im too lazy to whip my own... usually when i make coffee with lots of coconut oil and do nt feel like whipping, the foamy
cream on top keeps the oil slick from feeling too gnarly lol.

used here; also, didn't
use pastry strips to make the crosses since I always think that a nice fondant frosting (just powdered sugar and

My husband's opinion and the general consensus on the Art of Manliness forums is that to get a
real shave (if you are going to shave, which was a controversial topic over there) a man must
use an old fashioned safety razor or straight razor and preferably a brush and mug soap rather than conventional shaving
cream.
