Her pancakes contain no added sugar, honey or any other sweetener, instead they are naturally sweetened
using sweet apples, almonds and cinnamon.
If
you use sweet apple varieties like Gala or Fuji, you wouldn't need to add sugar at all.
We ditched the sugar in the apple sauce (because it's really not needed if
you use sweet apples), replaced cookie crumble with a simple nut and date crumble and used whipped coconut cream on top to make it vegan.
You might want to
use a sweeter apple in place of the tart ones if you do reduce the sugar in the filling.
If Asian pears are not readily available, feel free to
use a sweet apple, such as fuji apples.
I like to
use a sweet apple — Fujis are my personal favorite — but feel free to use a more tart variety or whatever is in season.

apple juice in place of white wine before, but that was in concert with tomatoes — if you want the slight vinegar taste, rather than a

uses fresh granny smith

use salt or lime, and for dressing, we
used extra virgin olive oil and raw

You really can

used a mandolin to slice the
