Unfortunately,,
using water colour board gives the best results, but it is way too expensive for me to practice on.
hey so i am a student and i doing a series of artworks about «Making your Marks» and for this series i wanted to make a literal mark on the world so my series consists of me just randomly making my mark on an a4 piece of paper which is the world map,
i used water colour paint and some random marks with a permanent marker.
During his first session, Jason drew a picture
using water colours.

All I changed was the miso — I only had a rich red barley one (which might explain the richer
colour I got in my sauce) so only
used 1 heaped tablespoon, I omitted the olive oil, and just the 1/2 tsp of rubbed sage leaves and I added a cup of frozen peas to the pasta cooking
water a couple of minutes before the end.
I tried spinach (nice
colour, no taste difference) and wild garlic (might as well just
use garlic, but again nice lightgreen
colour) and ended up with my favourite version
using buttermilk or clabber (my fathers version) instead of
water or milk.
