It creates a world that is disturbing by using psychology instead of
the usual jump scares, and manages to achieve a very unique experience.
The first story mostly just observes a night watchman (Paul Whitehouse) roam around a dilapidated set in the dark with a flashlight, encountering
the usual jump scares.

A massive improvement over its bland predecessor in just about every way, «Ouija: Origin of Evil» focuses more on creating a creepy atmosphere rather than the
usual gore or cheap
jump scares, and it works pretty well for the most part.
A change from the
usual take in batman games, Arkham Knight was filled with
jump scares, emotions and plenty of «is this the end of Batman?»
All of the
usual tropes of the franchise are present here (which includes plenty of
jump scares) but this film directed by Adam Robitel has a bit more heart and creepiness factor to it, that makes it almost as good as the first film.
Though there are few solid
jump moments and a few genuine
scares in Dracula Untold, it is, essentially, just another superhero origin story — albeit for a slightly darker character than
usual.
With legendary
jump scares (because bosses burst through walls now, apparently), PT-esque freakout moments and the
usual creature features you'd expect from a Resi game it all coalesces to create an interactive horror that drips with menace both in VR and on traditional screens.
