usual glucose syrup, muscovado
sugar and honey used for binding granola bars are replaced with Dark and Golden Date Juice Concentrates which allow refined
sugar free claims and are suitable for vegans.
I've tweaked the classic recipe to make it refined
sugar free friendly (unless you count the little bit in the Weetbix) substituting dates in the slice for the
usual table
sugar and rice malt in the butter icing.
As
usual, they are raw vegan, plus gluten and
sugar free.
