My final words of advice are to stick with it, enjoy and try to practice this
with vairagya.
Author Stephen Cope considers the contemplative traditions» aversion to attachment — and penchant for non-attachment (
vairagya in yoga)-- and asks is attachment really so bad?
The first one deals with love, while the second and the third deal with good conduct (NITHI), and renunciation of worldly desires (
VAIRAGYA) respectively.
We need to learn how to persevere the practice (abhyasa) while not being attached to its fruits (
vairagya).
Detachment (
vairagya) or «letting go» is the second.
Through knowledge and self analysis Dispassion (
vairagya) is developed and liberation or Oneness with Universal Energy is attained through personal intuitive experience.
