Though categorization is a
valuable, essential data management tool, one that helped propel us to the top
of the
food chain (grouping
bits of data together into categories allows us to handle more mental «stuff» at once), we run the risk
of forgetting that these groups are made up
of individual, non-homogenous
bits.
