The MBNA Alaska Airlines card earns

miles, gives a US$ 121 companion ticket every year and there is a bonus earning for purchases made

Aside from Ultimate Rewards points earned
on the Chase cards mentioned above, in my opinion, Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) Starpoints are the next most
valuable currency in the points and
miles game.
United
miles are among the most
valuable of the big three carriers (United, Delta, and American) because the airline doesn't collect fuel surcharges
on any award tickets and because it allows a free stopover
on round - trip tickets.
When you add this offer to your card and make a purchase
on Air France, not only can you earn
valuable frequent flyer
miles, but you'll earn a huge bonus
on the purchase!
As long as you know your
miles can be used
on lots of other airlines besides the specific airline they're in, you can see how much more

However, the lack of first class award tickets
on international routes does impose an upper limit since those often represent the most

miles.
They're not as
valuable as KrisFlyer
miles but they do provide good access to first class awards
on SkyTeam carriers.
If you're a Delta flyer who wants perks, doesn't mind redeeming
miles on only Delta and Sky Team Alliance airlines, and will be spending enough
on the card to maximize the point bonuses, the Platinum Delta SkyMiles card can be very
valuable.
Keep in mind that you'll be earning
miles on your flights since this still will register as a paid flight, so you could argue that the points are a little bit more
valuable.
The most
valuable category of airline flight / bonus promos includes all airline promotions that don't have a third party, like bonuses for buying or gifting
miles, flying in premium cabins and booking tickets
on certain routes.
The three big U.S. legacy carriers — American, United and Delta — are good bets in general, because they not only had the most overall
miles up for grabs, but
on average, their promotions were among the most
valuable, with an average of 14,540, 12,420 and 9,590
miles available per offer.
You won't lose out
on valuable miles simply because you fly, ride, or stay with a particular brand, and you have the opportunity to take advantage of the card's many other bonuses.
