market downturn, the
stocks of these blue - chip companies are likely to hold their
value better than those of
value companies, small companies and
emerging markets companies.
In
emerging markets, the gap was even wider, with
value stocks over 16 percentage points behind growth.
As ever, when
market cycles mature, long - term
value often
emerges among the most unloved and overlooked
stocks.
Only
emerging markets value -
stocks appear vaguely attractive to him.
And just as
value trumps growth in the international and U.S.
stock markets,
emerging markets value stocks outperformed
emerging markets large - cap blend
stocks over the past 26 years.
Instead, you can look for great asset classes like REITs, small - cap
value stocks and
emerging markets stocks.
We believe that
emerging stock markets are inefficient and provide strong potential for adding
value through active fund management.
A low - cost portfolio (preferably using index funds, but that's MY choice) that included international (both developed and

emerging market stocks to try to boost our returns?
Suddenly, the 100 % mid-cap
