value award currency, the best deal has been to redeem for their «Wan na Get Away Fares» at what was once a rate of 1.67 cents per point but will soon become 1.43 cents per point.

While high -
value awards can sometimes be achieved using these
currencies, the process of searching for and booking
awards is often an arduous task, particularly when compared to using a fixed -
value currency like FlexPerks.
Everyone knows that Avios, the
awards currency used by British Airways Executive Club, can be redeemed for short - haul domestic flights at sometimes astronomical
values.
I'd rather store them elsewhere where I can get better
value on my redemptions — or even earn points with a transferable
currency like Citi, Chase, or American Express» reward programs, so I can transfer them to any carrier where I can get a fantastic first or business class
award.
Starpoints are worth even more than the cash - back
currencies, assuming you prefer to redeem for international
awards in premium cabins, which is where miles get their maximum
value.
And some airlines like Southwest and Jet Blue offer
awards based on
currency so their
award values are not going to fluctuate much, although appreciable fluctuations still do occur.
Usually the best
value you can get from these points is to, as is usually the case with all transferable reward
currencies, transfer them into airline programs for
award flights.
But there are other
award currencies that are better redemption
values for Rome hotels.
A fixed
value of 1.5 cents is a nice floor
value for point redemptions, and as a fixed -
value currency you don't have to worry about finding
award availability.
Payment made in any foreign
currency will be converted into USD on a rate solely determined by Trip.com, and miles will be
awarded based on the USD
value.
The least
value points
currency among the major ones often discussed by US frequent flyers has to be Virgin Atlantic's — fuel surcharges, can not mix and match partners, partner
awards that can not be booked one - way, and challenging call center agents all rolled up into one.
Starpoints are more difficult to earn than my other favorite
award currencies, and I
value them very highly.
But there are other
award currencies that are better redemption
values for Florence hotels.
