The presence of a significant interaction tells us that there is significant
moderation (i.e., that the association between the predictor and the outcome is significantly different across levels of the moderator or that the association is conditional on
values of the moderator), but tells us little
about the specific conditions that dictate whether the predictor is significantly related to the outcome.
