I didn't have any

do well in creamy, milky drinks, while spices, herbs and

I didn't have any baking
powder, applesauce,
vanilla extract or honey.
Note: I don't use dates or
vanilla powder because I usually use one batch for both sweet and savoury uses, but if it's just going to be coffee creamer, go ahead.
The advantage to
vanilla powder is it can be added to warm liquids and the
vanilla flavor will not evaporate as it
does with extracts.
If you want to omit or use a
vanilla protein
powder, feel free to
do so.

do punch up the mouthfeel and flavor of this Dairy Free Instant Hot Chocolate Mix.
You don't have to use the
vanilla protein
powder, although I think it adds structure to the finished cake.
I also flavored the cake with the zest of an orange (instead of
vanilla) and omitted the baking
powder, which didn't seem altogether necessary (the whipped egg whites provide sufficient volume).
