If you're avoiding sugar completely, cinnamon and
vanilla powder make great substitutes.
Also, does replacing vanilla extract with (pure)
vanilla powder make much of a difference with the liquid difference?

make up the difference, increased almond meal to 1 cup, added some

vanilla extract instead of the

My food processor is only 500 W but i
made deliciously smooth cashew butter last week — so even if your food processor isn't the strongest you should still be able to do it, just keep it in a little longer Can't wait to try it with the

Hi Natalie, I've only ever
made this recipe with
vanilla powder before so I'm not too sure about the flavour or ratios for
vanilla extract but I imagine that it should work well too.
Haven't tried this yet, but I bet dried (or fresh) ginger would
make a great substitution for the
vanilla powder!
The
vanilla extract may have
made the mixture slightly too fluid so I would recommend trying the
vanilla powder instead next time!
In the meantime,
make the whipped cream frosting by combining heavy cream, cocoa
powder, confectioner's sugar, and
vanilla extract in a large metal bowl.
