So the author is correct in my opinion that dogs need (in a perfect world) cooked root
veg as at least 40 % of the diet wth raw meat / bones / organs.
I only really recommend that you give your hamster fruit and
veg as part of his / her diet, however some people choose to give their hamsters little tiny pieces of raw meat.
