vegan cheeses do you like?
I am not necessarily a fan of seitan, and vegan cheese doesn't usually call out to me.
Now let's be honest: vegan cheese is not brie or camembert, but when the choice is feeling enormous pain and freaking out when doing my breast exam,
vegan cheese does the trick.
Vegan cheese doesn't have a reputation for melting quickly, but just in case yours decides to go rogue, check on your mini-pizzas around the 7 - to 8 - minute mark to make sure your cheese strips are still intact
Vegan cheese doesn't melt quite like dairy cheese but it's still just as delicious and that's how I eat mine.

Even my VERY picky husband (who is not on board with going full
vegan) said that he didn't think anyone would be able to tell it wasn't dairy
cheese dip.
This looks brilliant — we have lots of middle eastern bakeries near us that
do this sort of pizza and all I can have is the
cheese or zaatar pizza but I would much prefer your
vegan version of the meaty one — it would probably work quite well with home made or bought pita bread too.

My husband doesn't like Daiya
cheese shreds, so for some of his pizzas, I put our homemade

cheese, and on some others, I didn't put
cheese at all — just loaded them up with sauce and veggies.

vegan cheese option, but they
do a special creamy sauce.

cheese in a regular grocery store?

vegan cheese still doesn't actually taste like «
cheese» to me, but at least it tastes like something I might like to eat.
You can serve these eggplant meatballs atop spaghetti and marinara (my personal fav), place them into a toasted sub with some
vegan cheese and marinara as Chris
did here on his Instagram, as appetizers with a toothpick and a drizzle of marinara, in minestrone soup, in a salad... the list just goes on and on!

Since the filing was a little bit soft from the
vegan cream
cheese (it's oozier at room temp than regular cream
cheese), I added a heaping tablespoon more peanut butter and a little more than a cup more powdered sugar and that
did the trick for me!
My kids don't like store bought

my favorite comfort food prior to being
vegan was grilled
cheese sandwiches, but I don't like fake
vegan cheese enough to have alone with bread.

I haven't made a real pizza in quite some time — although last month I
did make a
vegan version of pizza on whole wheat pitas with a
vegan cheese sauce I made from scratch, that was quite delicious!

cheese does have some nutritional yeast, but it's low on the ingredient list.
Luckily, now I don't miss any
cheese because I know all the amazing ways of how to make
vegan cheese.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss
cheese sometimes, but as an ethical
vegan it's a lot easier to give it up if you know where it comes from.
I don't know of any
vegan alternatives to cottage
cheese — you could maybe just omit it?

Sometimes we don't have
vegan cheese either, or haven't made some, and just leave it out and its fine.
Going to skip the mozzarella too as I don't normally like processed
vegan cheese.
Do try this with pepper jack or other spicy
vegan cheese, which gives it a bit of a kick.
It's totally
vegan, so no actual
cheese, but the mixture of potato and seasonings
does a surprisingly good job of tasting like it.
If you don't like cashew
cheese, or you are allergic to nuts, or you simply want to try another type of
vegan cheese you will love this

I personally find this to be amazing as I try to follow a dairy free diet, but it's hard to
do without any
cheese — but with the
vegan cheese it's so much easier since I can fulfill all my
cheese cravings with a plant based replacement.

What I love about this recipe is that that its quick, easy, has minimal ingredients, packed to the max with veggies, and is so good it doesn't even need
vegan mayo or avocado, its good just with
vegan cheese!

On pizza, we use Daiya shreds, but I've noticed many long - time
vegans don't care for Daiya
cheese, so if your palate has moved beyond Daiya, you can try avocado on pizza which I prefer now to
vegan shreds.
