used cashew cream in place of the ricotta & three flax
eggs to make them
vegan > not as perfect as the original, but turned out pretty well.

I just made these
vegan using earth balance instead of butter, 2 tbs ground flax mixed with 3 tbs water for
egg, and dairy free chocolate chips (no white chocolate chips).
And I'm not talking about eggless
egg powder or whatever that REAL
vegans use.
Instead of
using eggs, this nut free
vegan fruit slice
uses mashed banana and flaxseed to bind the slice.

Organic Golden Flaxseed Meal can also be
used in almost any recipe as a
vegan egg substitute: simply mix 1 Tbsp flaxseed meal with 3 Tbsp water in a small bowl and let sit for two minutes to replace one
egg in a recipe.
