One of the biggest mistakes a vegan can make is consuming too many starchy carbohydrates from low - quality sources like
vegan packaged snacks, etc..
In addition to prepared meals / sandwiches / wraps / hummus, there are a bunch of
vegan packaged snacks (some healthier than others) and fruits.

packaging, she keeps it real and still buys «normal stuff» (if by normal you consider
vegan and organic
snacks normal — which I kind of do when they're, like, alternatives to goldfish crackers and that sort of thing).
Although
vegans tend to consume less processed foods than their omnivorous counterparts, they are not exempt, as many frozen dinners and
packaged snacks free of animal products will still be high in preservatives and artificial flavorings.
Remember that
vegan snacks and
packaged foods aren't automatically healthy; in fact, many pack in added sugars and processed ingredients to replace components like eggs and milk.
