Smoothie is a thick beverage made from raw blended fruit,
vegetable and
at times, ice - cream.
We really do take advantage of fruits and
vegetables and make
smoothies on a regular basis
at my house hold.

Smoothies are aimed
at elementary school - aged children and combine fruit, Greek yogurt,
vegetables, coconut milk and quinoa.
Each morning
at their house we would have a concoction of fruits and
vegetables blended up with apple juice and this is what sparked my
smoothie - urge.

vegetables in them and the
smoothie was gone in a second.
Juicing does remove the pulp and fiber from fruit and
vegetables but blending does not, you're still eating (or drinking) whole food —
at least if you make your after 50
smoothie in your own kitchen.
2) If you're blending your green
smoothies in a normal blender and then drinking them, you may want to consider using a food processor, or
at the very least chopping the fruit and
vegetables up before blending to ensure an even blend.
I get mine in by drinking veggie
smoothies and eating a salad or two green
vegetables at every meal.
Smoothies made from different
vegetables help in flushing out toxins from your body, while
at the same time they provide you with all the good stuff your body requires.
(Note: you shouldn't stop here with your greens, every meal should have some green
vegetables, but
at least with a green
smoothie breakfast, you're making sure to start your day in the right direction!)
