The good old Dr. G (Greger, that is), says that smoothies are great to consume
as long
as you eat them within the same time period
as you would chewing all those
fruits and veggies in the smoothie.
Grains, nuts, seeds, lentils
and beans carry this
as well
as some
fruits and veggies.
