I don't think I am getting the right nutrition,

and warm in England recently, which meant that it was time to really get into summer cooking — beautiful salads, cold wild rice

veggies with delicious dips, mountains of guacamole with crudités,

I tend to mainly eat
veggies in the day
so try to get some
fruit in in the morning
so I'll make a juice like this or an apple, kiwi, pear
and ginger.
For those of you that are green juice addicts I should say that I've tried adding some greens to this, but it made the flavour a little strange
so I think it's best to stick with the sweeter
veggies and a little

It's usually lentils or quinoa (we cook large batches
so we always have some ready in our fridge), greens,

veggies and eggs.
I tend to serve lots of tacos, spaghetti, hot dogs / chicken sausages (with

so it's not a total waste of a meal!)
As the weather gets colder, it's
so comforting
and satisfying to cook some of your
veggies, since your body may be craving the warmth to balance out any raw vegetables
and fruits.
Also, I think one of the best ways to transition into fall is to use all those yummy fall

so awesomely created in His good pleasure
and bake them / cook them into yummy goodies like this.
TIP: This would make a great breakfast smoothie if you're on the go in the morning; I used to enjoy a version of this at a day job I had several years ago while working at a local bakery,
and it was comforting to know I was giving my body
