add your recipe to my list of vegetarian chilis to try!).
You could
add in tons of fresh
veggies for a vegetarian
version and it'd be delicious!

added kimchi at the end elevated the fried rice into something new and exciting!

I just made this recipe — I am used to a less healthy
version, with ketchup but I honestly could not tell the difference.I used one whole onion and green pepper as
veggies and
added a tbsp of brown sugar.
So like you say keep
adding in and crowding out with fruit and
veggies, find healthier
versions of your favourites etc..
To the eggplant and red pepper I
added cauliflower for my
version, because I like to jam as many
veggies in as possible.
In this
version the eggplant stands in for traditional ground meat, but you could
add a pound of ground beef, veal or pork (or a combination of the three) to the
veggies after they have cooked a little bit.

I just came here to check out your blog and wanted to
add a bit to this recipe — another great
version is to smear the bread with cream cheese and
add deli meats and
veggies.
My choices are real sauerkraut (live, raw
versions in the cold section) and kimchi (spicy Asian sauerkraut with
added peppers and
veggies).

veggies to make this even healthier — like zucchini, squash, corn, etc. — For a vegetarian
version, swap ground turkey for cooked lentils, quinoa, or any other high protein grain!
