Did you know Chanel actually made leather
versions of the shopping bag?

To add some interest to this basic look, I slipped on a pair
of statement boots (mine are sold out, but
shop similar
versions here and here), my new Garmin smartwatch (this thing is amazing), and grabbed a navy statement
bag.
Few can poke fun at themselves like Karl can (no one else would dare or do it as well as he would), and you have to wonder if his
versions of the Chanel woman — in her tweed suit and full array
of Chanel accessories (the chain
bag, the statement shoe, the sunglasses, the gloves, the earrings) wasn't also a wink - wink look at the cult
of shopping he himself has inspired.
My 2 cents: — LOVE Washable Wednesday — please don't change — one day for maternity clothes — definitely need at least once a week because although pregnancy is a short period it is a hard time for
shopping for stylish work appropriate clothing — one day for nursing or pumping items — one day for baby or kid gear (strollers, lunch
bags, great clothes for mini-corp * rettes — so hard to find stuff that's not pink / purple but still a bit girly — e.g. when Land's End finally brought in a girls
version of their astronaut t - shirt.)
And I have been waiting on a Foley + Corinna
bag (smaller
version of yours) to come into my consignment
shop for, forever!!
So far, my Clarks pumps have gone to church twice & out to dinner, and both times I was able to return home, walk comfortably up my driveway & into my room without any urge to kick them off my feet & into a big fire like some other shoes I have tried... and, my Clarks
shopping trip scored me $ 40 to spend on my next visit - they have those punch card things where a filled card gives you $ $ to spend, and between the pumps, the sandals & that beautiful orchid handbag I filled a card, so I may go back and use the credit towards the nude
version of the pumps... and if I get really ambitious, I'll post a picture
of myself with the pumps & the
bag very soon.
