The app drawer has been rearranged into
a vertical scrolling list, with four «predictive» app listings up top — applications which Google thinks you might want to us next.
Worse, the watch's interface requires learning a mental map of the tiny watch screens laid out like an inverted T. Recent notifications appear as
a vertical scrolling list, but «glances» (display screens for stocks, weather, battery charge, steps taken and so on) are arranged horizontally.

The «recipes» that players can use to craft new items takes shape as a
vertical, alphabetic
list that requires incessant
scrolling to find what you need.
List - based apps, like twitter, would require more
scrolling, but I'm not convinced that would ruin the experience, while music players would need less empty
vertical space surrounding square album art.
