Last Monday morning I was cleaning up the
kitchen and discovered that we had somehow accumulated 10
very ripe bananas in the
back of the freezer.
He went
back to bed and I laid on the
kitchen floor, hand cupped over my mouth, simultaneously laughing and crying, trying to wrap my mind around the fact that he wanted to marry me even though I'd spent the entirety
of our relationship being
very vocal about my thoughts on marriage, it being a dying institution, yadda yadda yadda.
Needless to say, my food wasn't
very exciting or original —
back then I basically put heaps
of cheese and veggies on my puff pastry sheets — but those dinners gave me enough confidence to start to play around in the
kitchen and get a bit more creative with my food.
As far as a cooking set - up, there was a
very small open
kitchen in the
back of the room that could fit a single person, maybe two Gwyneths, at most.
Very smoothly transitioning
back to the
kitchen from my bare and bizarre anecdote... Alegría is Rice Krispies-esque, brought south
of the border with a slight tang

But I reintroduced myself to the idea

of gingerbread house and embrace the mess fully.

very mixed feelings about encouraging any community which can afford it to go ahead and raise all the money they need to fix school food in their own
back yard, and I say this even as, here in SF, we prepare to have a study done on building the central
kitchen of our dreams; to build that
kitchen, we will have to tax ourselves via a bond.

When we were searching for a house we saw so many where the
kitchen was its own separate tiny room in the
very back of the house that we thought we were just going to have to settle for that and be oh so sad.
Eventually with the aid
of a
kitchen knife and some
very careful prodding, I managed to slide the card
back in and then pull the battery out.

very little cabinet space.I made a closet into a pantry so all I need is a lil space for dishes.I just got married and received a
very nice set
of a olive green dish set that I have not opened because my cabinets need a real bad make over.The cabinets over the sink are coming apart from the wall.I know all we would have to do is replace the
backs of the cabinet and mount them up properly on the wall.I tried to explain it to my husband < but he understands more when he sees it in writing.I have always loved the idea
of cabinets with no doors.I love baskets as well and so I went on a hunt for a idea to bring my vision
of what i would love my
kitchen to look like.One day I decided to go on my favorite web site and I saw a picture
of black cabinets, no doors with baskets.OMG..
Interestingly, the new plan above was formed from the original idea we had the
very first day we looked at the house, which was to move the sink to the
back wall
of the current
kitchen.

of 2015 as it looks
very interesting.
But as I sit here in my dream
kitchen, and look at my fireplace that I designed myself (after they put one in that I hadn't dicussed with them and they had to jack hammer that one out), and my backyard that after 16 years
of living in the same house is finally coming in as I had planned, you'll look
back very soon and wonder what life was like when you didn't have drywall dust all over your clothes.
Rooms being located in the
back part
of the house with a door between the
kitchen and the hallway made it
very private for anybody that likes to sleep in and not hear the rest
of the family in the dining area.
My
kitchen, where I spend the most time, is at the
back of our farmhouse, so this would be
