best decision i ever made (financial or otherwise) was serving our country doing search - and - rescue, oil and chemical spill remediation, etc. (you can guess the branch
of service)-- along the
way, frugal
living, along with dollar - cost averaging, asset allocation, and diversification allowed us to retire early — Vanguard has been
very good over the years, despite the Dot Bomb, 2002, and the recession (where we actually came out
better with a modest but bargain retirement home purchase)... it's not easy building additional «legs» on a retirement platform, but now that we're here, cash, real estate, investments and insurance products, along with a small pension all help to avoid any real dependence on social security (we won't even need it at full retirement age)-- however, like nearly everybody, we're headed for Medicare in several years, albeit with a nice supplemental and pharmacy benefits — but our main concern is staying fit, active, and healthy!
I am, indeed, deeply regretful
of the fact that you were not allowed to be compelled to sacrifice your

better than me and I am the tail and because the
way Christians have treated me recently through my struggle I have felt that I should convert to Hinduism when I brought this up to my mother she told me I will go to hell because Jesus is the only God which I do believe to an extent but I also believe in having peace within your own

better than anyone they do not sin they do not make mistakes and they are perfect in every
way another one
of her favorite sayings I'm not perfect but I'm going to try to be BC Jesus loves me that much.
Since these «mixed» ventures may not always be the churches» most direct or effective
way of fulfilling their central function
of explaining the ultimate meaning
of life to their adherents — and certainly not if muffled by the requirements

Another preacher preaching what ever goes is ok with Christianity... If your going to preach Christianity based on the Bible, then you might as
well forget gay marriages are ok... If you want to twist it around then thats up to you... Paul said, «The Berens were
of noble charachter because they didn't believe what they heard, but they took what they heard and confirmed it with the Bible... So its like the Yen or Yang... Its either Gods church or Satans Church... Can't be any other
way... Do I hate gays, no... I have some
very close friends that I have had for over 30 years that are gay, but I think they will be accountable for their
life styles... Thats the thing about Christianity, we are held accountable, its not an everything goes belief... Its rules we have to follow... And rules we will be held accountable... So maybe this preacher needs to start a dfferent faith or religion... One where there are no rules and where its people are not accountable for their actions...
What we model in
Way to
Live is
very different from the entertainment model
of youth ministry that's so widespread today — where the basic idea is to get a young, charismatic person to keep the kids busy and make sure they have a
good time.
Tim i found it liberating to just do what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I love the people and i love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats not my walk thats theres. My focus is to do what the Lord wants me to do.There have been times i have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him as
well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function because there is a need our hearts have to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand where i was coming from and thats okay because
of that i just said no until my heart is right i am
better not being involved in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i have done that in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part
of different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans as the groups i am in seem to be changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry about change as the Lord knows whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge change in my
life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad thing at all as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big change was my identity moved from me and what i could do to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services in the morning and one has services in the evening so the two do nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really
well and because i stepped out in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my heart has to be right and when i do it in his
way it builds up the body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a
very minor
way take small steps.regards brentnz
My critism is not at people working 9 to 5 jobs but at the whole system
of 9 to 5 jobs.Having a 9 to 5 job also becomes a status symbol in South Africa cause a job means money, money immediately means a
better standard
of material living.Its
very frustrating actually. There are many creative options as a
way of earning a living.Again, to reitterate, its the system that gets me mad, institutionilisation
of peoples
lives for money...
I lean towards the third view... but I admit it is the most difficult
of the three views... Christ's priorities appear to be «love in motion» flowing in almost unpredictable directions as dictated by the greatest need: — He heals a slave rather than rebukes slavery; — He heals a man at a pool, then leads the man to belief, then says «cease from sinning»; — He heals many others and says «go and sin no more» to but a few; — He shares money with the poor but establishes no long - term aid; — He touches lepers; He converses with seeking Pharisees; He debates with other Pharisees; He
lives with Samaritan outcasts for two days; — He acknowledges the five «marriages»
of the Samaritan woman as «marriages»... and then remarks about her current co-habitation... but then moves to higher priorities; — He seems so
very focused on internal holiness and not on external holiness; — He violates the Sabbath; He says He is Lord
of the Sabbath; He even says that the Sabbath was created to assist man, rather than man created to serve the Sabbath... thus turning the entire concept
of the Law into one
of assistance rather than being chained to obedience; — He insists on impartiality in the
way we bless others, even if we call them «evil» or «
good».
He understood
very well that the Christian religion was not merely a set
of teachings but a
way of life.
When death comes, appraisal must also be made in the same
way, for the total pattern
of a given human
life, made up as it is
of a particular «routing»
of occasions bound together in the fashion we indicated earlier, has also contributed, or failed to contribute, in its
very totality, to the creative advance in
good.
Schubert Ogden has written an essay on «The Strange Witness
of Unbelief» (included in his book The Reality
of God, SCM Press, London, 1967), in which he demonstrates how often it is the
very negators
of meaning whose
way of life, attitude toward others, and struggle for a «
better world» exhibit a dim yet pervasive feeling
of significance in the world and in their own existence, a sense
of meaning that (as Ogden argues and as I believe) is a hidden working
of divine Love in their hearts.
I love the idea that God says: Look, you cretins, there are certain results to the
way we are, to selfishness, and there's a mortality as part
of your
very sinful nature, and, let's face it, you're not
living a
very good life, are you?
Even the

the amazing thing is, that much
of the fallout from my old church are still
very much in fellowship with each other in less formal
ways... we still play a big part in each others
lives and many are now pretty
well known in christendom, doing some radical stuff.

I mean, most Christians believe what they believe because they think it consistent with the

So, Dr Hassan Ayariga as serious as he is, there is no
way he will quote a foreign currency knowing
very well in Ghana we don't [spend] foreign currency but in Ghana we [spend] cedis, so everything he said it was in cedis but because he has
