very overtired and would like in - person guidance when implementing their sleep plan.

What I've come to realize from hosting over the past few years in a variety of different venues, with the use of many ad - hoc kitchens, is that our audience — the over-extended student, the
overtired first - year analyst, and the over-eager eternal dilettante (whose time is slightly more flexible)-- requires
very few reasons to have fun.
Many times
overtired baby can be
very active, hyper and wanting to play.
This may sound like a
very short period of time, but preventing the twins from being
overtired during the day will help them sleep more soundly at night.
i noticed that when my son is
overtired he is
very restless even in sleep.
So now he isn't on a eat / wake / sleep cycle anymore since his naps are still so short... He really is a
very good baby and is
very easygoing, but he just isn't a sleeper at all and seems to constantly be
overtired!!
[Sister - in - law] and [mother - in - law] are both
very judgey about my [dear child]'s bedtime with SIL saying at the weekend that my DC must be «chronically
overtired» because they were still dancing at a family party at midnight.
The biggest fluctuations depend on whether or not get naps (he's never fallen asleep in less than 7 hours after any kind of nap) so a late catnap means
very late bedtime and even on no nap days he seems to get tired around 4 pm and pushing past this means he is
overtired already so cortisol kicks in and we are up way past what I would consider a suitable bedtime.
Just long enough to matter (and not drag the process out too long) but not drastic enough to accidentally hit the
overtired amped - up nighttime monster stage on the
very first night.
As well, some babies may require a bit less awake time before they reach that
overtired state (especially between morning wake - up and first nap, this time is often
very short as this nap is a continuation of nightsleep).
This is a bit harder on everyone, and works best for children that are
very adaptable to changes and are not hugely affected by being
overtired.
I read yesterday that its
very common for an
overtired baby to go down easily (as long as their sleep trained and over two months:)!.
