As you wander around the land of any one of the given levels, your sole purpose remains the same — roam the land for X amount of days (each step you take through the land ticks the countdown timer down a day) building the biggest army you possibly can before the apocalypse brings forth the wrath of
some very powerful demons.

It's all
very well getting Conan to go all in with his melee attack in order to defeat a
demon or
powerful foe, but for that to work out the other players really need to make sure that he isn't going to get swarmed on the overlord's turn, leaving him really wishing he hadn't exerted himself swinging a sword instead of holding up a shield.
The modes are amusing but
very retro (meaning overused and not particularly inspired), only saved by the inclusion of
Demon Runes that transform you into
powerful versions of several
demons like the Revenant or Baron of Hell that at least add a twist to the gameplay.
Build a
powerful team of fighters by capturing
