missions start bringing back the infiltrate and kill everyone, or blow stuff up formulas, they end.
Nothing is more frustrating than being 90 % through a long
mission and having to
start over at the
very beginning if you die (which was my least favorite part
of the base GTA4 game).
The game
starts with a
very short series
of three
missions: First, get in the car and drive your buddy to Point A, then drive to Point B, and finally pick up a certain passenger at the hospital and take her to Point C.
From the
very start you control the hero Bartz and his companions on a
mission to figure out what is behind the mysterious reappearance
of terrible, genocidal evil in the world, and to deduce what is going on with the energy crystals that have been the lifeline
of its populace for decades.
And for an example
of how
missions can help with having events occur... well, some
of the mansions I described in this
