It can be a bread, a spicy
sweet cake or a molded / shaped cookie that can range from light colored with just a touch of spice to dark colored and
very spicy.
It is not
very sweet though, so I would recommend adding more sugar if you like really

Although this
cake is vegan, it is
very moist, thanks to the
sweet potato and pear puree included in the batter.
If you want a
very sweet bread / more like a
cake, feel free to increase the sugar.
It came out of the pan easily (my gripe with bundt
cakes), and the frosting was good with it because this
cake is not
very sweet.
I used a raw, unfiltered honey which was
very strong and
sweet and the sweetness of the
cake came out perfect.
It's not
very much at all for how much batter there is, but I didn't want it to overpower the cinnamon or be too cloyingly
sweet — remember, we've got streusel and glaze to top the
cake!
