Its impossible to keep a chain perfectly taut the entire time while towing so at the
very least this would make for an
uncomfortable ride and at worst do serious damage to both vehicles.

That latter foresight once spared the Treadwells a

Stiff suspension and large alloy wheels (with
very low - profile tyres) combine to make the
ride really quite
uncomfortable — especially at low speeds.
