Opening just a few weeks ago, Julie Ault's personal collection of artworks (and art in her friends» collections) makes a compelling case that the best art will never end up on
view in major museums or galleries.
A few had been on
view in major museums collections — the Studio Museum in Harlem, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA)-- but the vast majority were not.
