Secularists, about 14 percent of the population, are likely to describe themselves as «irreligious,» rather than «antireligious,» and they frequently
view religious adherents as dogmatists.
What is important, according to this line of thinking, is to let the
adherents of each religion speak for themselves about the nature of their own
religious experiences, their
views of the world and of life, and their own forms of beliefs and worship.
