During the company's rise, one concern that was often
voiced by its detractors was that it, like any good monopolist, would dramatically raise prices once it achieved its desired market share (which was, and still is, 100 percent).
Detractors of post-normal science, conversely, see it as a method of trying to argue for a given set of actions despite a lack of evidence for them, and as a method of trying to stifle opposing
voices calling for caution
by accusing them of hidden biases.
