Volunteers are split into
teams to handle operations like
adoption screening, rescues, social media, and more.
Once a family is approved for
adoption, the
volunteer should act as an intermediary between the adopters and the
Team Lead and / or the adopters and the foster families (within NJ).
The Events
Team is always looking for
volunteers interested in being an
adoption event lead.
After adopting, she decided to take her
volunteering a step further, by joining the
adoption event manager
team.
Adult
Volunteers Needed: From cleaning and playtime, to staffing
adoption events, we can always use more
team members!

If the foster and adopter both agree it's a good fit, then an
adoption home visit request will be sent to our

volunteering at the SPCA of Northern Nevada in 2000, first by walking dogs, and then by fostering and as part of the PetSmart
adoption team.
AWS» operations,
adoption center, programs and services are supported by a staff of more than 40 full - and part - time employees and a
team of more than 150 dedicated
volunteers.
Without these services, it would have been impossible for our
volunteer team to market all of these animals on all of the pet
adoption websites Rescue Groups supports.
The organization works with a

volunteers and partner shelters to provide spay and neuter programs, medical treatments, education, and most importantly,

In order to successfully execute an
adoption event or special event, we need an amazing
team of
volunteers to help transport and give love to our available dogs, inform potential adopters about the
adoption process and collect
volunteer / potential adopter emails for future communication.
Over time, the couple acquired a core
team of 15 - 20 core
volunteers who would help with fostering,
adoptions, delivering food, and more.

adoption centers has been instrumental in developing support systems for new

Support comes in many ways:
volunteering with the cats at one of our
adoption centers, assisting our
volunteer team at
adoption and fundraising events, sharing photos of the profiles of our cats and dogs with people who you think may be interested, or donating cash and other necessary items that our pets need in order to live comfortable, healthy lives either in an
adoption center or in foster care.

Adoption for their hard work, and making a difference in Montreal and other communities.
From May to September, it's puppy and kitten season, and our
team is pushed to their limits in caring for sometimes 10 or more new shelter animals a day while trying to arrange
adoption events, transports, medical care, feeding and proper cleaning of kennels,
volunteer training, etc..
Volunteers serve as greeters in the
Adoption Center lobby, answer guest questions, and collaborate with the customer service
team to follow - up with recent adopters.
Vanessa is a wonderful
volunteer, always willing to help our cat care

adoption of almost 1,000 animals each year, we also provide a low cost spay / neuter program, education programs, free board to animals of domestic violence victims,

We work with a fantastic
team of veterinarians, behaviorists, trainers, groomers, and
volunteers to make sure that our dogs are ready for
adoption, and go to the right family.
Our Volunteer Receptionists greet visitors, our
Adoption Counselors help families pick the perfect pet, our Medical
Team looks after the health of our cats and dogs, our Kennel Staff makes sure all our animal guests — often more than 100 on any given day — are fed and cared for, and our hundreds of
Volunteers take pets out for fresh air and make them feel loved while they wait to be adopted.
Where Pets Are Found have recently
teamed up with DCH Animal
Adoptions, a non-profit
volunteer run charity who rescue and re-home abandoned Dogs, Cats and Horses.
In addition to supporting SASF, Pete has
volunteered since 2009 with another shelter close to his work where he's part of the
adoption support
team.
We moved our
Adoption Program into our 489 Main Street location back in October 2012, we expanded our
team of amazing
volunteers, we improved procedures, gained more national recognition, rescued some unforgettable cats and kittens, and met some wonderful adoptive families.
The
Adoption Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all activities of the HSP
Adoption Center, including leading a
team of three employees, supervising departmental
volunteers, and ensuring all HSP clients receive exemplary customer service.
