I do not mind what type of
job it
is, even if it
is a
volunteer position, as I would like the experience to help me decide whether I
am interested in the experimental or theoretical aspect of my degree.
I can't remember if I looked for experience because I
was already
interested in a «communicating»
job, or if Belinda and Ray
were looking for
volunteers and as a result of working with them, I realised this
was what I wanted to do.
My
interests were diverse: I really enjoyed the writing aspect of my
job; I craved a chance to learn about a broader range of medical and biological topics; I wanted more social interaction
in my
job, but I also needed «quiet time»; I wanted to continue organizing workshops and conferences, which I had
been doing on a
volunteer basis; I liked to focus on the details; and I constantly needed to learn something new.
Tbh the worst thing I ever did
was befriending people on holiday bc their lives
are so much more
interesting than mine lol I
'm out here starting my new
job and saving for summer and these lot
are bartending and
volunteering and travelling
in all these cool places like someone adopt me pls x x

volunteer group with limited time to return calls and emails, (we all have

volunteer with an organization where you can do something that
's a little beyond your skill set.
Chances
are, when you
