option to cross-train
into another area.

into medical research for answers, they
volunteer at shelters, participate in community activities, create close relationships with their clients and the list goes on.
In the meantime, they've become creative in how they discuss
options with potential adopters, staff and
volunteers — and are getting more dogs
into homes because of it!

volunteering at a nursing home and other public outlets where the dog can be put
into a social environment.

volunteer some of your time and go on a service trip with a great non-profit called the Friends of Haleakala National Park.
