With the current situation going
on in the States about
voting rights and that those (apparently blacks in particular, according to a state - side colleague) who have
voted for years, now have to prove themselves as having a «right to
vote» (doesn't
matter that they have
voted for years, apparently having had full rights)-- stirring up shades of Rosa Parks and the back of the bus story once
again (that happened here, too, during the war years — I know — I witnessed it)-- discrimination of any kind needs to be frowned upon — anywhere, any time, any place.
