The main difference to SC is that everything (Bases, Starships) in DU is built by players using
voxel technology.

technology is there just grab it, enhancing the graphics it opens the door to new possibilities, new ideas in games, just look how a simple shooter like Resogun's visuals just moving left to right is enhanced by the graphics in this case the
voxels tech and physics.
