A 2005 report from the Metropolitan Police Service indicates that over the course of one month, 87 % of
alleged victims were
vulnerable in at least one of the following ways: being under the age of 18, having a mental health issue, being in a relationship with the accused, and having consumed drugs or alcohol prior to the offense.
