wacky friend, is able to steal her scenes, her
character as garishly
wrought as the others.
There's a rambling day at a golf course after eating too many marijuana - laced brownies (The joke of accidental or unintentional drug use has really become a pitiful crutch to get
characters to do
wacky things and rarely
works; it doesn't here).
It still has all the great things about the genre and Schafer's kind of
work - snappy writing, satisfying puzzles,
wacky characters and great locations, it's just the filler is taken out and I don't mind that at all.
