Linda, I got the idea for baking the cornbread
batter in the
waffle iron because of the fact that some of the people I know who like the Southern cornbread
really like it thin and crusty.
Then I mix up some
really awful
waffle batter from a box mix (or use leftover [what the hell is leftover?]-RRB-
I love making
waffles as a weekend treat because they are
really so simple; mix dry ingredients, pour wet into dry, pour
batter into
waffle iron, eat (ideally while listening to this song).
